Alton Town Council Open Spaces Committee is currently considering a number of potential improvements to Anstey Park and is actively seeking your views so we can determine a timetable of works and fundraising for the most appropriate proposals. The provision of any additional facilities will be dependent upon the successful approval of grant funding and it is anticipated that any solution would be provided at little or no direct cost to the taxpayer, except where matched funding is a requirement.

The Alton Town Council Corporate Strategy 2016-2020 states as a key objective:

Develop and improve public spaces to produce inclusive facilities to give Altonians the best possible opportunities to pursue an active lifestyle at minimal direct cost.”

We would like to establish which of these proposed schemes may be supported by residents and also how many people might use them. There would be no charge to residents for community use of the facilities
